I am Chaya, a University Qualified Nutritionist (BHSc), mum to three beautiful boys, an introvert, a bookworm, and recovering body hater.
Through the process of completing my degree, I spent time studying fussy eating, and was fortunate enough to train in the SOS approach to feeding. It came to my attention that not only is there an incredible amount of confusion in the general area of nutrition, but also in how we feed our children and support our families to develop a good relationship with food that will last into adulthood.
As a busy mum of three boys, I have had some pretty intense ‘on the job’ training in feeding children, and how challenging this can be. Over the course of being a parent, and seeing how different my children have been on the feeding spectrum, I understand the need to improve education and support in feeding concerns.
So here we are at Seeds Nutrition, where family nutrition, and childrens feeding, will be broken down into bitesize pieces. Where you can discover what Responsive Feeding is for both you and your family, how we can teach our children to grow into a positive relationship with food, and where a mentality of total acceptance and a space free from judgement can pave the way for revelation and life change.
Fostering body acceptance and joy for food in adults and young children alike, is a crucial part of Seeds Nutrition. Providing children from all walks of life, with a firm foundation to embrace all foods and all bodies, will pave a way for comfortable and competent relationships with food, and self confidence as they grow.
